Python Developer (FastAPI / Django)

Role Overview: As an experienced Python Developer with expertise in FastAPI and/or Django, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices for high-impact products serving regional and global customers. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams and contribution to CI/CD pipelines will ensure the delivery of secure, efficient, and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using FastAPI or Django. - Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing backend components and microservices. - Integrate with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL and external services. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices. - Collaborate with product, frontend, DevOps, QA, and delivery teams in Dubai & Riyadh. - Participate in design discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews. - Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize queries, and enhance API efficiency. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, with a preference for AWS. Qualification Required: - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python backend development. - Strong expertise in FastAPI and/or Django frameworks. - Solid understanding of ORMs, relational databases, and REST design principles. - Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Celery, or message queues. - Familiarity with Docker, containers, and cloud environments like AWS/Azure/GCP. - Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT. - Ability to write unit tests, follow clean coding practices, and possess strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
