Python Developer - Data Science

Core Responsibilities:

• Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables through highly scalable Python scripts
• Analyze, review, and understand existing Python automation scripts.
• Identify areas for improvement, optimization, and potential automation enhancements.
• Ability to independently design, develop and architect highly available, highly scalable applications from scratch
• Collaborate with data scientists and other team members to understand requirements and translate them into efficient Python code.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of automation scripts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts.
• Document code and processes for effective knowledge transfer.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit- learn) and concepts of data types, data frames, lists, dictionaries, functions, arrays, etc.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Knowledge of classes and objects and Experience in SQL queries
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Understanding and experience in lending business is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of work experience, with a strong hold on Python
• Knowledge of cloud platforms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with Devops practices, and tools like Docker, JIRA, Bitbucket
