Senior Python Developer.

The ideal candidate has strong backend engineering experience, in-depth knowledge of Python, AWS, and API architecture, and is capable of owning end-to-end delivery of features.

Key Responsibilities-

Design and implement secure, high-performance RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask) and AWS Lambda/API Gateway Architect API contracts and interface layers to enable integration across internal and third-party systems Enforce best practices around API authentication, authorization (e.g., token-based auth, org/user scoping), and throttling Implement caching, rate limiting, pagination, and versioning strategies in API design Build reusable modules for request validation, error handling, logging, and tracing Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployment via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / CodePipeline) Work closely with Product and Data Engineering teams to align API functionality with business and platform needs Conduct low-level design and write clean, modular code with unit and integration test coverage Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize response times using tools like AWS CloudWatch or X-Ray Maintain technical documentation for APIs, interfaces, and design decisions Required Skills & Experience 8- 10 years of experience in backend/API development using Python Deep understanding of REST API design principles, low-level design patterns, and microservice architecture

Strong grasp of authentication and authorization models (JWT, API keys, IAM roles, etc.) Proficient in designing scalable APIs with versioning, pagination, rate limiting, and monitoring Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and automated deployments Experience integrating with external APIs and third-party services securely Familiarity with database access (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and basic data modeling Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
