REST API testing

to design, build, and validate scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend frameworks, database design, and API validation with a focus on performance, security, and quality. You will collaborate with QA engineers, front-end developers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and robust delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, PyTest, or REST Assured.
• Collaborate with QA teams to automate API validation and regression testing.
• Ensure backend performance, scalability, and security.
• Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) for storage and retrieval.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend and API-related issues.
• Document API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI).
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment for iterative releases.
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Python (Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
• Hands-on experience in REST API development and testing.
• Proficiency in Postman, PyTest, or similar testing tools.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT).
