Python Automation Engineer

Position:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using

  Python

  with

  Selenium

  .
• Implement and execute test cases using

  Pytest

  or

  Robot Framework

  .
• Work on

  Linux-based environments

  for test execution, debugging, and automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create effective automation solutions.
  
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing through automation.
  
• Maintain automation frameworks and contribute to continuous test improvements.
  
• Report, track, and document defects and ensure quality deliverables.
  
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.
  

Required Skills:

Manual Testing.

• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  Selenium WebDriver

  for UI automation.
• Practical knowledge of

  pytest

  or

  Robot Framework

  .
• Good exposure to

  Linux OS

  , shell scripting, and command-line tools.
• Experience in writing reusable and scalable test scripts.
  
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g.,

  Git

  ) and CI/CD tools (e.g.,

  Jenkins

  , GitLab CI).
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management.
  

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of API testing (e.g.,

  REST API automation

  using Python libraries like requests).
• Experience with

  Docker

  or containerized environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  

Education:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
