Job Summary:

Python Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
automation scripts using Python
for infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Work with
Kubernetes
or
Docker
to manage containerized environments and deployments.
Automate provisioning and configuration of
cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
.
Collaborate with Dev, QA, and CloudOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Develop automation around system health checks, alerts, and reporting.
Ensure scripts and automation frameworks follow best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
Document automation processes and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in
Python scripting and automation
.
Experience with
Kubernetes
or
Docker
for container management.
Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms
AWS, Azure, or GCP
.
Experience with
REST APIs
, cloud services, and environment provisioning tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line scripting.
Version control using
Git
.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to tools like
Terraform
,
Ansible
, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
Knowledge of
monitoring tools
like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Understanding of network configuration and security in cloud environments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
5 to 6 years of relevant experience in automation and cloud technologies.
