Python Application Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Application Design & Development: Architect, build, and configure Python-based applications according to business needs and technical specifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams including project managers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to ensure timely delivery and integration of solutions.
• Project Delivery: Take ownership of assigned deliverables from conception to deployment, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to team learning by sharing technical insights, best practices, and mentorship for junior members.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Python (minimum 5 years hands-on experience).
• Experience with Python frameworks (such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database design.
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines is desirable but not mandatory.

Experience & Education Criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in Python application development.
• At least 15 years of full-time formal education (from recognised institutions).
• Proven track record of delivering Python projects in collaborative environments.
