Design, Implement and manage RESTful APIs using Python. Ensure APIs are scalable, secure and perform optimally. Develop serverless functions using Azure Functions to support event-driven architecture and integration with other Azure services. Create comprehensive unit and integration tests using pytest to ensure code quality and functionality. Work closely with frontend developer, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions. Debug and resolve issues with existing APIs and functions, Optimize performance and scalability of deployed solutions. Maintain clear and concise documentation for APIs, functions, and testing procedures. Follow best practices for code quality, security, and performance. Experience in atleast one popular python framework(FastAPI or Flask). Primary Skills Python : Proficiency in Python programming, with hands on experience in developing APIs and serverless functions. REST APIs : Strong understanding of RESTful principles and experience in designing and implementing RESTful services. Azure Functions : Experience with Azure Functions, including writing, deploying. and managing serverless applications. Pytest : Solid experience with Pytest for writing unit and integration tests, ensuring code reliability and coverage. Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex issues effectively. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
