Role Overview: You will be joining CNH Industrial as a Product Development Specialist focusing on the CHEX product for the Construction equipment Portfolio in India and worldwide. Your role will involve representing the Purchasing function in a cross-functional team for the CHEX platform, working closely with engineering teams to coordinate purchasing strategies, manage supplier base, track material costs, and ensure launch readiness within budget and quality parameters. Your contribution will play a crucial role in achieving cost reduction targets and driving purchasing/engineering collaboration for successful product development. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a liaison between Purchasing function and platform engineering teams to coordinate purchasing strategies and support new product development process - Identify and manage a reliable direct material supplier base for engineering and platform activities, increasing supplier involvement in co-design strategies, R&D, part standardization, target costing, and quality/cost reduction - Monitor negotiations and implementation of technical modifications, managing vendor tooling budgets for assigned programs - Coordinate efforts in managing Purchasing/Engineering cost reduction projects, contributing to CE TCR target and vehicle total variable cost target - Generate and update business case for savings/returns, support commodities in sourcing process Qualification Required: - Minimum 10 years of experience in Purchasing, Product development, Project Management or similar field - High level of project management skill with the ability to map out deliverables for the development cycle - Technical and/or functional expertise on major purchased commodities - Advanced computer skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of manufacturing/engineering requirements and planning systems - Ability to work independently and with teams, strong negotiation and communication skills - Experience in driving strategies to improve performance on cost, quality, and delivery Additional Details: At CNH Industrial, you will have dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
