As a Procurement/Purchase Manager in the Travel & Tourism industry, your primary responsibility will be to purchase the right goods and materials at the best price, maintaining the required quality and volume to ensure a cost-effective purchasing model within the hotel. You will be expected to report regularly on goods requirements to facilitate more effective future purchasing decisions. Additionally, you will calculate and report on monthly savings resulting from cost-effective purchasing practices. Collaborating with hotel management, you will work towards improving the purchasing process to reduce waste and enhance profitability. A key aspect of your role will be leading and developing the Purchasing Team, utilizing your previous experience in a Purchasing capacity to drive success. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, as well as implementing a strategic approach to purchasing that increases profitability, will be crucial for your success in this position. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of working effectively in a Purchasing capacity, along with experience in establishing and nurturing excellent supplier relationships. Your ability to communicate effectively and supervise team members will be essential for managing the Purchasing Team and ensuring operational efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule, requiring in-person work at the specified location.
