1. Obtaining accumulative requirements from projects Sites and schedule to ensure steady & timely supply of materials at competitive rates.
2. Receiving quotations and preparing comparatives for assessment of best price.
3. Identify, evaluate, and select vendors/suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
4. Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
5. Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
6. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site/project teams for material requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and budgetary guidelines.
8. Track, analyze, and report on purchasing trends, costs, and supplier performance.
9. Resolve issues related to delivery delays, shortages, or quality discrepancies.
10. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and accounts team to align procurement with project timelines.
