Job Objective

  • The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for the club, ensuring timely sourcing of quality products and services at competitive prices.
  • This role involves vendor management, negotiation, inventory control, and compliance with procurement policies to support smooth club operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with club objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to meet operational requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments for replenishment needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with club policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in procurement.
  • Resolve supplier issues and manage relationships to ensure consistent supply.
  • Prepare and present periodic procurement reports to management.
  • Collaborate with finance team for budget adherence and payment processing.
  • Stay updated on market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement systems for tracking purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Handle emergency procurement requirements promptly and efficiently.
  • Train and guide junior procurement staff to maintain high performance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelors degree - Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Overall experience : -

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or club operations
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
