Purchase Manager- Engineered Stone/ Quartz Surfaces

As a professional in inventory control and procurement, your primary responsibility will be to maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure material availability for production. You will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships and negotiating better pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to support the operations of an Engineered Stone manufacturing company specializing in Quartz products. In this role, you will be expected to identify and develop new suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effective sourcing in collaboration with purchase and technical teams. Your contributions will be vital in implementing cost-saving initiatives and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency within the procurement process. To stay ahead in the industry, you will need to conduct market research, stay informed on industry trends, and leverage insights for strategic sourcing decisions. Additionally, you will be required to coordinate with the Export-Import (EXIM) department for seamless import and export operations. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and a provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the job location is in person. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in vendor management, negotiation, purchasing, procurement, and sourcing.
