Job Purpose

The Purchase Executive is responsible for planning, sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining supplies and services required for smooth organizational operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery in line with organizational policies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify purchase requirements, prepare purchase requisitions, and process purchase orders.
• Source vendors, obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and finalize suppliers.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, consumables, services, and assets as per requirements.
• Coordinate with stores, finance, and user departments for smooth procurement and delivery.
• Maintain vendor database and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Verify invoices, delivery challans, and ensure proper documentation for audits.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any relevant field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement (NGO or service sector experience preferred).

• Vendor management and negotiation skills
• MS Excel, ERP, or purchase management software
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ethical, detail-oriented, and process-driven

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
