Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Executive for our Construction Company manages the end-to-end procurement of building materials, equipment, and services while ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time site delivery.

• Role: Purchase Executive / Procurement Executive
• Industry: Civil Construction, Real Estate, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction)
• Reports To: Purchase Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Head
• Experience Required: Typically 1 to 5+ years (junior roles may accept fresh graduates) [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Key Materials Handled

• Structural & Civil: Steel (TMT bars), cement, RMC (Ready Mix Concrete), aggregates, sand, and bricks.
• Finishing & MEP: Wooden/carpentry items, plumbing and sanitary fixtures, electrical cables/panels, and hardware. [1]

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and contractors to build a strong supplier network. [1, 2, 3]
• Quotation & Negotiation: Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. [1, 2]
• Purchase Orders (POs): Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders accurately via ERP/SAP systems or procurement software. [1, 2, 3]
• Site Coordination: Coordinate closely with site engineers and project managers to understand material requirements and prevent project delays. [1, 2]
• Bill Verification & Reconciliation: Match vendor invoices against received delivery challans and approved POs before passing them to the finance/accounts department. [1, 2]
• Inventory & Market Tracking: Monitor stock levels, track market price trends for raw materials, and prepare monthly purchase MIS (Management Information System) and variance reports. [1, 2]

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel (trackers, pivot tables) and ERP/SAP/inventory management software.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), civil construction materials, and site delivery logistics.
• Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, vendor management, and communication skills.

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Immediate Joiner is preferred.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
