Purchase Executive

We are looking for an energetic and responsible Purchase Executive to join our Purchase team. This is a junior-level role suitable for candidates who are good at communication, follow-ups and coordination and want to develop their career in procurement, material planning and vendor management.

The role involves working closely with vendors, stores and production teams to ensure that required materials are available on time and at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in purchase planning and material requirement planning based on stock and production requirements.
• Send enquiries/RFQs to vendors and obtain competitive quotations.
• Compare vendor prices, delivery schedules, payment terms and commercial conditions.
• Regularly follow up with suppliers for quotations, order confirmation and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores and other departments for material requirements and priorities.
• Monitor pending Purchase Orders and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Identify potential shortages or delays and take timely follow-up action.
• Maintain records of quotations, Purchase Orders, vendor details, prices and delivery status.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors through telephone, email and WhatsApp.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating and developing new vendors.
• Support day-to-day procurement and purchase coordination activities.

Who We Are Looking For

• Graduate / Diploma holder.
• Excellent telephonic communication and email writing skills are mandatory.
• Comfortable speaking with vendors and doing regular follow-ups.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, email and basic computer applications.
• Good coordination, negotiation and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently follow up and take responsibility for assigned purchases.
• Freshers with strong communication and coordination skills may apply.
• 1–2 years of Purchase / Procurement experience in a manufacturing or engineering company will be preferred.
