Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive with 1–4 years of experience in procurement within the interior design or fit-out industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendors, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining timely supply of goods required for projects.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

• Source and procure materials such as plywood, laminates, hardware, fittings, fabrics, and décor items.
• Identify and evaluate new vendors and suppliers.
• Compare quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Vendor Management

• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure proper documentation and vendor records are maintained.

Purchase Order Management

• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Coordinate with warehouse/site teams for material requirements.

Cost Control & Budgeting

• Ensure procurement within approved budgets.
• Analyze cost trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Inventory Coordination

• Work closely with the inventory/store team to track stock levels.
• Avoid overstocking or stock shortages.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain purchase records, invoices, and contracts.
• Prepare reports using MS Excel (MIS, cost analysis, vendor comparison sheets).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Understanding of interior materials and market rates.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple vendors/projects.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in interior fit-out or construction procurement.
• Familiarity with ERP/software for purchase management.
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
