Job Summary

Vashi Integrated Solutions is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer / Purchase Executive with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in industrial procurement, purchasing, and vendor management. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with SAP MM, the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, supplier development, and price negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, from purchase requisition to order processing and delivery.
• Float RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from vendors.
• Create and release Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP MM.
• Coordinate with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely material delivery.
• Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Prepare comparative statements, analyze prices, and negotiate with vendors for competitive rates.
• Maintain procurement records, purchase data, and reports using MS Excel.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with stores, planning, accounts, and other internal departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with the SAP MM module is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Experience in vendor development, quotation analysis, and price negotiation.
• Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
