Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up on purchase orders and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Maintain accurate supplier documentation and records monthly.
Review supplier performance and suggest improvements where necessary.
Handle material rejections and resolve issues promptly.
Manage scrap materials and ensure proper disposal procedures monthly.
Update and review daily purchase planning sheets to ensure material availability.
Fetch and verify purchase indents from SAP to ensure accuracy.
Work closely with the production team for procurement planning and material coordination.
Monitor supplier payments, ensuring timely processing and accurate invoicing.
Optimize purchasing processes to reduce costs and improve inventory management.

Core Experience Required:

3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing
within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of vendor management, purchase order processes, and supplier negotiations.
Proficiency in SAP and other procurement tools.
Familiarity with inventory management, material planning
Experience in handling rejections, scrap management, and cost reduction strategies.
Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
