Job Title: Purchase Executive

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

Salary: Up to ₹4.8 LPA

Working Hours: 9:15 AM to 6:00 PM

Week Offs: 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday Off + Every Sunday Off

Company Overview:

We are a reputed company in the safety industry, actively involved in import and logistics operations. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our dynamic team at our Dadar office.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement processes for goods and materials, with a focus on imported items.

Coordinate with international and domestic vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

Manage purchase orders, quotations, and vendor negotiations to achieve cost efficiency.

Collaborate with logistics partners to streamline shipment and customs clearance processes.

Maintain and update inventory records and procurement documentation.

Liaise with internal departments (accounts, warehouse, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor market trends and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety industry standards.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in purchase/procurement, especially in import and logistics.

Prior experience or familiarity with the safety equipment industry is a plus.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Good knowledge of vendor management and procurement software/tools.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
