Purchase Executive Zinc & Raw Material Procurement

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Purchase Executive** to manage procurement of **zinc, chemicals, and other raw materials** for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, knowledge of chemical industry procurement, and the ability to communicate effectively in **English** with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors for **zinc, chemicals, and related raw materials**.

* Negotiate price, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability.

* Prepare and process purchase orders, agreements, and contracts.

* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production & stores for timely procurement.

* Conduct market research to track price trends, new products, and supplier performance.

* Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory requirements.

* Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and with logistics for material delivery.

* Generate regular purchase reports for management review.

* Communicate fluently in **English** (both written & spoken) with international and domestic suppliers.

**Candidate Requirements:**

* **Education:** Graduate in Commerce/Science/Engineering; preference for candidates with specialization in Supply Chain / Materials Management.

* **Experience:** 3 to 6 years of experience in **chemical or metal industry procurement** (zinc/raw materials preferred).

* **Skills:**

* Strong negotiation & vendor management skills.

* Good knowledge of purchase cycle and supply chain processes.

* Ability to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring quality.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

* **Fluent English communication** (mandatory)
