• Obtaining competitive offers from Vendors/Service Providers as per PR.
• Techno-commercial scrutiny of offers received.
• Preparation of comparative statement and price benefit analysis.
• Negotiations to be carried out with Vendors/Service Providers.
• Due Diligence Compliance of Vendors/Service Providers as per Policy
guidelines.
• Issuance of Purchase Order on vendors as per Policy guidelines.
• Issuance of Service Order on service providers as per Policy guidelines.
• Placement of orders on OEMs/Principals for spares and/or services as
required (domestic & international).
• Processing & Preparation of Annual Rate Contracts with
Vendors/Service Providers for parts and services.
• Close interaction with parts dispatch from OEMs/Principals, logistics &
parts order management team and technical service team.
• Close coordination with International OEMs/Principals to expedite import
of ordered parts and discharge of import obligations.
• Settlement of payment obligations of vendors/service providers.
• Ensuring timely booking of Invoices with Accounts as per Policy
guidelines.
• Developing vendor data base.
Required Skills • Thorough knowledge of Purchase processes.
• Thorough knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes.
• Should have worked in an Engineering Company.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Knowledge of Imports & Exports processes will be an added advantage.
