Purchase Engineer or Executive

Location - Kolkata

Responsibilities

Sourcing, acquiring and managing construction materials (e.g., Cement, Steel, Sand, Bricks, Granite, Marbles etc.)
Purchase planning
Vendor negotiation
Coordinate with Project, Engineering and Design teams to understand material requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules based on project timelines and budgets.
Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials
Generate PO
Maintain a harmonious relation with the suppliers
Forecast material needs and accordingly contact with suppliers to ensure no shortage of stock
