Job Description: Handle day-to-day purchase operations including inquiry, quotation comparison, and order placement. Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for timely procurement. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines with vendors. Track and ensure timely delivery of materials as per production requirements. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor details. Coordinate with store, accounts, and production departments for material planning and availability. Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and payments with suppliers. Assist in developing cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Skills Required: Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for purchase tracking and reporting. Ability to coordinate with multiple departments. Attention to detail and documentation.
Qualification: Graduate in any stream
Experience: 0–2 years in purchase/procurement roles.
Preferred: Experience in engineering or manufacturing industry. Familiarity with ERP or purchase management systems.
