Purchase Assistant

As a Purchase Executive/Officer at Agrow Allied Ventures Private Ltd, your role involves identifying RM/PM/Consumables Mechanical requirements in requisitions for purchase, maintaining the BOQ with updates from suppliers, and preparing a schedule of comparison. You will be responsible for receiving competitive price quotations, expertise in drafting and Excel MIS, and ensuring that potential suppliers are provided with identical information for equal opportunity to meet desired requirements. Your duties will also include preparing POs and reports, keeping accurate records to justify processes and decisions, and issuing purchase orders. Additionally, you will track and expedite shipments, handle delivery and inspection of items, and assist in insurance claims if needed. You will be responsible for follow-up matters with suppliers, staying updated with market developments, and assisting in vendor development. Reporting on budget versus actual cost on a plant-wise basis, arranging and participating in meetings between suppliers and company personnel, and facilitating standardization and economical procurement will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include having 1 to 2 years of exposure in Fertilizers, Pesticides, Agrochemicals, or other chemicals/pharma companies. Proficiency in Chinese speaking and familiarity with SAP software will be an added advantage. This position is a full-time, permanent role in the Fertilizers/Pesticides/Agrochemicals industry under the functional area of Procurement & Supply Chain. Your education qualifications should include being a graduate in any discipline, with postgraduate qualifications being an added advantage. A doctorate is not required for this role.
