Public Relations Specialist

• Contribute to discussions related to story ideas and planning PR campaigns.
• Develop content and draft quotes.
• Prepare category and competition scans.
• Scan the latest print and online news to identify relevant story ideas for clients.
• Draft social media posts and find relevant tags and hashtags (does not involve preparing creative or design content).
• Map media and pitch to relevant journalists to secure stories.
• Prepare media pitch notes.
• Understand new age media platforms like Twitter Spaces, Podcasts, etc.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Be a team player and a go-getter.

• Prior experience of 2 to 10 years working in public relations and brand building with a PR firm.
• Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication.
• Connected to a network of journalists/associates on a Pan India basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make presentations.
