Public Relations Officer

You are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) with a background in the hospital industry to join the team at Divine Heart & Multispeciality Hospitals. As the ideal candidate, you will play a key role in managing and enhancing the hospital's public image and communication efforts. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing PR strategies to promote the Hospitals" services, achievements, and community involvement. You will cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media representatives, journalists, and influencers. Additionally, you will coordinate press releases, media interviews, and promotional events to increase brand visibility. Monitoring and analyzing media coverage, as well as preparing reports on PR performance, will be part of your duties. You will act as a spokesperson for the hospital, addressing media inquiries and representing the organization at public events. Collaboration with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals is essential. Furthermore, you will be responsible for planning and executing community outreach programs, health awareness campaigns, and events. To be considered for this role, you must have an MBA in Marketing and previous experience as a Public Relations Officer in a hospital setting is mandatory. A strong understanding of PR principles and practices, especially in the healthcare industry, is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in media relations, crisis communication, and PR tools/software is expected. You should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment and possess creative thinking and strategic planning abilities.
