Public Relations Manager

*Position Overview:*

The *Public Relations Manager* will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance Karma Centres visibility and reputation across diverse media platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about spirituality, wellness, and holistic living, with a strong network in media, corporate, educational, and wellness sectors.

You will serve as the bridge between Karma Centre and the public — managing media relations, coordinating outreach programs, and creating meaningful collaborations that promote our message and values organically.

### *Key Responsibilities:*

* *Media Relations & Outreach*

* Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and content creators across print, broadcast, and digital media.

* Write and distribute press releases, media kits, newsletters, and feature stories.

* Arrange interviews, press conferences, and media coverage for Karma Centre’s events, programs, and key speakers.

* *Public Promotion & Brand Visibility*

* Strategize and execute campaigns to increase Karma Centre’s presence on all major public and social media platforms.

* Promote content that attracts organic followers and fosters authentic engagement.

* Collaborate with the creative and digital teams to maintain a consistent, inspiring brand voice.

* *Corporate & Institutional Partnerships*

* Build relationships with corporate wellness programs, hospitals, educational institutions, and mental health organizations.

* Develop proposals and partnerships for wellness workshops, meditation retreats, and CSR activities.

* Represent Karma Centre at mental health exhibitions, conferences, and community events.

* *Events & Public Speaking*

* Coordinate public events, spiritual talks, and awareness programs to expand Karma Centre’s outreach.

* Facilitate guest speaking opportunities and interviews for the organization’s leadership team.

* *Monitoring & Reporting*

* Track and analyze PR campaign results, media coverage, and engagement growth.

* Provide regular reports and insights for strategic improvement.

### *Qualifications & Skills:*

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in PR, media relations, or communications — preferably in wellness, NGO, or lifestyle sectors.

* Strong network of contacts across print, digital, and broadcast media.

* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Proficiency in social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and content creation.

* Passion for spirituality, mindfulness, and community development.

* Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
