Public Relations Intern

As a PR Intern at Vishalakshi Foundation, you will be involved in various activities aimed at empowering underprivileged children through education and working towards a zero-hunger nation. Your main responsibilities will include: - Crafting compelling press releases, media pitches, and impact stories to showcase the organization's work - Supporting the PR team by monitoring media, compiling coverage, and analyzing its impact - Assisting in the organization of events, press conferences, and outreach to stakeholders - Creating engaging content for the website and social media platforms to amplify the mission - Collaborating with the Education & Nutrition teams to bring forth powerful stories that resonate with the audience To qualify for this role, you should be a current student or recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related field. Additionally, you should possess excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. A passion for social causes, especially in the areas of education and hunger alleviation, is essential. Being organized, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively are key traits for this position. While experience with press tools or media statistics is a plus, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important.
