Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Location: Bangalore

Job Type:Part-Time

Experience Level:2–5 years / 5+ years (based on requirement)

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, therapy, and interventions for individuals facing emotional, behavioral, or mental health issues. You will work with diverse age groups and backgrounds, ensuring ethical, evidence-based care, while also promoting mental health awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychological assessments, interviews, and diagnostic tests.

- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs.

- Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions.

- Address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, stress management, and developmental disorders.

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards.

- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, counsellors, and other healthcare professionals.

- Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary discussions.

- Offer psychoeducation workshops, webinars, or support groups when needed.

- Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines under the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and Mental Health Care Act 2017.

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree (M.Phil.)/ MSc in Clinical Psychology

PsyD/Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and empathetic skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Familiarity with Indian cultural nuances, languages, and socio-psychological dynamics.

Preferred Skills:

- Proficiency in regional languages (Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, etc.) is an advantage.

- Experience in handling telehealth or online therapy platforms.

- Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and other evidence-based therapies.

- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with sensitivity to gender, cultural, and socio-economic differences.
