Job Description

Job Title: Psychologist Wellness Intelligence

Position Overview:

The Psychologist is responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services across assigned institutions. The role focuses on individual counselling, group sessions, workshops, life-skills training, and student wellness evaluations, while maintaining ethical standards, punctuality, and accurate documentation.

The Psychologist plays a frontline role in student support, early identification of distress, crisis response (under supervision), and effective use of the Self Talk Platform for service delivery and documentation. The role also contributes to program-based module creation and mental health awareness content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual counselling sessions, professionally and ethically.
  • Deliver group sessions on stress management, emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, academic skills, and wellbeing.
  • Facilitate workshops for students, parents, and staff as per program requirements.
  • Conduct life-skills training sessions using approved frameworks.
  • Carry out student wellness evaluations using approved screening tools.
  • Manage low to moderate complexity cases and immediately escalate high risk cases to the Senior Psychologist or Manager. Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.

  • Ensure all sessions are conducted as per institution-approved schedules.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely case notes for every session.
  • Log all sessions, follow-ups, evaluations, and focus groups in the Self Talk platform without delay. Document risk indicators, referrals, and communications accurately. Adhere to organisational documentation and data-protection protocols.

  • Identify early warning signs of emotional or behavioural distress.
  • Provide psychological first aid under guidance during distress situations.
  • Follow established crisis-response protocols, including escalation and safety planning.

4. Coordination with Institutions

  • Maintain professional working relationships with teachers, coordinators, wardens, and institutional staff. Share relevant observations (within ethical limits) to support student wellbeing. Participate in review meetings when required. Escalate institutional concerns appropriately.

5. Program Execution & Deliverables

  • The Psychologist is responsible for timely and high-quality execution of assigned programme components, including:
  • Individual Sessions Group Sessions
  • Workshops Life-Skills Classes Skill-Development Sessions Student Wellness Evaluations All deliverables must be completed as per program timelines and documented accurately.

  • Log in to the online Platform as per assigned schedules. Conduct online counselling sessions when allocated. Ensure accurate and timely digital documentation. Follow ethical, confidentiality, and data-protection guidelines.

7. Module Creation & Content Development

  • Support creation and adaptation of wellbeing modules based on the program allocated.
  • Assist in developing session outlines, worksheets, and activities.
  • Contribute to mental-health awareness content for social-media and digital platforms, ensuring ethical and stigma-free messaging.

8. Working Hours & Scheduling

  • Working hours will be aligned with the timing requirements of the assigned institution(s) or clients.
  • The Psychologist is expected to demonstrate flexibility to accommodate school/college schedules, workshops, group sessions, or crisis interventions as required. Daily schedules will be planned in coordination with the Senior Psychologist or Manager to ensure adequate coverage and work-life balance.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

Masters Degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology (Mandatory)

Experience

Minimum 01 year of counselling experience, Exposure to group work or workshops preferred Willingness to learn crisis-handling and institutional protocols
