Psychological Counsellor

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to understand childrens emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and group counselling sessions for children.
• Support children dealing with anxiety, stress, mood issues, bullying, and adjustment difficulties.
• Use evidence-based interventions such as

  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices

  .
• Work closely with parents to provide guidance and emotional support strategies.
• Collaborate with occupational, speech, and behavioral therapists for holistic care.
• Maintain detailed case records and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Preferred: Certification in

  Child & Adolescent Counselling, CBT, Play Therapy, or Art Therapy

• Experience working with children in educational, clinical, or rehabilitation settings.
• Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
• A child-friendly, patient, and supportive approach.
