As a PS Core Engineer at our company, you will be part of a team responsible for the daily management, operation, and troubleshooting of mobile data core platforms. We are seeking a structured individual with a technical and practical attitude, who is analytical, has a solid technical base, and can focus on outcomes to drive results. **Key Responsibilities:** - Daily management and operation of mobile data core platforms within your responsibility area - Handling typical platforms such as SGSN, GGSN, MME, EPG, PCRF, IPv4 NAT solution, DNS and Radius server, GRX/IPX border router, and firewall - Securing and restoring quality in maintained platforms, networks, and solutions as 2nd and 3rd line technical support - Participation in scheduled 24x7 on-call duty - Active involvement in solving network issues and service disturbances - Collaborating with subject matter experts to resolve escalated issues within defined service level agreements - Regular updates to 1st line on ongoing trouble tickets and providing comprehensive issue reports - Escalation of tickets to suppliers after severity analysis - Designing and implementing configuration data into maintained platforms - Performing software upgrades and implementing updates - Conducting platform hardware maintenance on-site - Updating necessary documentation - Continuous learning and updating internal knowledge base with new support solutions - Providing suggestions for standards, instructions, methods, and procedures related to network operation **Qualifications and Experience:** - MSC or BSC degree in Technical Science or equivalent expertise through work experience or certifications - Minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations, management, and engineering - Strong knowledge of mobile data core architecture, elements, and IP networking - Familiarity with signaling in mobile networks, SS7, Sigtran, BGP, OSPF routing - CISCO certification is desired - Understanding of mobile network technology and network-based applications - Experience in mobile data roaming implementation and operation would be a plus - Previous exposure to Unix server and/or database administration is beneficial - Previous involvement in network firewall administration is advantageous If you find this role interesting and you meet the qualifications, please send your CV to career@jinraitech.com.
