Key Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on the relevant curriculum, adapting teaching methods for diverse learning styles.
• Instruction: Teach mathematical concepts, like arithmetic and geometry, using easy-to-understand terms and real-life examples.
• Assessment: Create, administer, and grade assignments and exams to evaluate student understanding and identify areas for improvement.
• Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Student Support: Provide additional support and tutoring to students needing extra help and encourage them to work to their full potential.
• Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents, providing updates on student progress and attending parent-teacher meetings.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student performance and submit progress reports as required.
• Professional Development: Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in education, with a focus on mathematics, is often required.
• Subject Expertise: A strong understanding of mathematics is crucial to effectively teach the subject.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey information clearly to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience & Enthusiasm: A patient and compassionate approach, along with a passion for mathematics, is essential to inspire young learners.
• Instructional Skills: The ability to use various teaching methods and create effective learning materials.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to help students navigate mathematical challenges.
