PRT Computer Science

Job Purpose:

To plan and deliver engaging computer science lessons for primary classes, fostering digital literacy, logical thinking, and safe use of technology among students in line with CBSE curriculum guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach computer science and digital literacy to students from Classes I–V as per CBSE norms.
• Design age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and projects that make learning interactive and practical.
• Introduce students to basic computer operations, MS Office, internet usage, coding fundamentals, and responsible online behavior.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and maintain records.
• Ensure safe and ethical use of technology in the computer lab.
• Integrate technology into teaching to support learning in other subjects.
• Provide individual guidance to students who need additional support.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, competitions, and exhibitions related to IT and coding.
• Maintain computer lab equipment and promptly report any technical issues.
• Collaborate with other teachers to promote cross-curricular ICT activities.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and training programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications (BCA) / Computer Science OR Graduation in any discipline with Diploma/Certificate in Computers.
• B.Ed. preferred (as per CBSE norms).
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify concepts for young learners.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Creativity in designing interactive lessons and hands-on activities.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and child-friendly approach.

Work Experience:

• 0–3 years of teaching experience (freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹21,000.00 per month
