Proving Engineer - Machining

As a Proving Engineer at TVS Motor Company in Hosur, your primary responsibilities will include: - Implementing Machine & Process FMEA actions based on guidelines. - Conducting inspections of machines, jigs & fixtures, and parts as per check sheets & drawings. - Installing and commissioning machines and equipment according to layout. - Performing trials and validating equipment through Process Capability & Process verification studies for QCD targets. - Creating necessary documentation like Stage drawings, TMOS, Gauge list, Tool list, Auto cycle diagram, etc., and training operators. - Developing Rate routing with inputs for SMM, Cost centers, PRT Data, and Inspection data. - Carrying out alpha, beta, and QP trials as per QCPC & Timeline, recording concerns, countermeasures, and learnings for standardization. - Implementing productivity/process improvements as per plan, including the development of new fixtures, tools, or gauges. - Conducting trials for new paint development, calculating paint consumption norms, and developing new jigs & Stickering fixtures. - Assisting in audits & reviews, raising necessary documentation, preparing cell layouts, and addressing customer problems.
