Proposals Engineer

As a Proposals Engineer at JordProxa, you will work under the guidance of the Technical Sales Manager. Your main responsibility will involve creating persuasive proposals to showcase the advantages of purchasing crystallisers from our company. These proposals must include detailed technical information to impress our clients and aid them in their decision-making process. It is crucial that the pricing presented in the proposals is accurate and backed by a meticulous cost estimate. Your duties will revolve around reviewing client specifications and bid requirements to identify key technical and commercial considerations that need to be incorporated into our estimates and proposals. You will be tasked with preparing estimates for different types of proposals, ensuring that they align with current material and fabrication costs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager and General Manager to develop tender bids and solid proposals for significant projects. - Review client specifications and bid requirements - Prepare estimates for different types of proposals - Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager and General Manager to develop tender bids - Ensure alignment of estimates with current material and fabrication costs As a Proposals Engineer, you will also be responsible for creating preliminary and budgetary proposals, managing quote systems, and facilitating the smooth transition of projects to the Operations team upon winning a bid. Effective communication with the Operations team is essential for project success, although you are not directly accountable for project margins. To excel in this role, you should: - Hold a degree in Process or Chemical Engineering - Possess a minimum of five years of experience in the chemical or process industry - Have proficiency in detailed estimating and layout of turnkey or modular plants - Possess a background in the design of integrated process systems - Be familiar with AutoCAD design software and experience in crystallisation equipment/plant design and estimation - Have strong technical writing skills and a proactive attitude towards business development - Be able to collaborate within a diverse team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is expected to effectively carry out your responsibilities.,
