Proposal Writer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, persuasive, and research-driven Proposal Writer to support our fundraising and program development efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting high-quality funding proposals, concept notes, grant applications, and donor communication materials that align with the mission and goals of the organization.

Responsibilities;

· Conduct thorough research on projects, programs, and impact areas to gather relevant information for proposal development.

· Coordinate closely with project managers and teams to collect accurate and up-to-date project details, outcomes, and data.

· Draft clear, persuasive, and well-structured proposals tailored to the needs of funders and aligned with the organization’s mission.

· Collaborate directly with the founder & resource mobilizers to ensure proposal content reflects the organization’s vision and strategic priorities.

· Translate complex project information into compelling narratives that empower changemakers to effectively pitch and secure funding.

· Ensure all proposal documents meet donor guidelines and submission requirements.

· Maintain organized records of proposal drafts, submitted proposals, and related communications.

· Support the founder and project teams by providing timely and polished proposal materials as needed.

Qualifications;

· Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

· 2 years’ experience in proposal writing/content writing

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document formatting tools

· Excellent witing and verbal communication skills

Office timing:- 9 to 6 PM (Monday to Saturday)
