Proposal Engineer (Thermal)

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for Basic Design and Proposal Engineering of Steam Turbine and Auxiliaries for new units and units offered for R&M. Shall have good understanding of Proposal Preparation for Steam Turbine and Auxiliary packages. Shall have good understanding of thermodynamics aspects of steam turbine. Shall have experience and knowledge of Heat Balance Diagram preparation. Shall have experience in Steam Turbine design for Thermal as well as Nuclear Power Plants.(Preferred) Shall have good understanding of Performance aspects of steam turbine and shall be capable of conducting Performance acceptance tests for Steam turbine. Shall have experience in Preparation of Performance Test related documentation. Shall have good understanding of Steam turbine operation. Shall have understanding and Knowledge of Site Preparation and execution of PG test for Steam Turbine as per international standards. Shall have the ability to take site jobs as and when required based on project requirement. Knowledge of International standard for steam turbines such as IEC, ASME etc. Show more Show less
