We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented PROOFREADER with a strong background to join our content development team. The ideal candidate will leverage their classroom experience to create, edit, and manage high-quality educational materials for print and digital platforms. This role bridges teaching expertise with publishing excellence to support student learning and educator effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and edit educational content including textbooks, teacher guides, assessment materials, and digital resources.

* Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, designers, and curriculum developers.

* Translate complex pedagogical concepts into accessible, engaging material.

* Manage editorial schedules and maintain high quality across multiple projects.

* Provide feedback on visual design, usability, and instructional integrity.

* Review submissions and support peer-review or author management processes

• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality content across various domains and formats.
• Monitor team performance, set clear KPIs, and conduct regular feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure content supports business and revenue objectives.
• Identify process improvements to enhance team productivity and output quality.
• Manage deadlines, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve challenges proactively.
• Maintain flexibility in adapting to changing priorities, client needs, and project demands.
• Drive innovation and creativity to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in content creation or management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong command over written English and excellent editing/proofreading skills.
• Proven ability to handle large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex situations with professionalism and flexibility.
