As a Proofreader at 1XL, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and professionalism of written materials, including documents, articles, marketing materials, websites, and publications. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing the written content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax errors. - Ensuring consistency in language, formatting, and style throughout the document. - Identifying and correcting typos, grammatical mistakes, and inaccuracies. - Providing light editing to improve clarity, coherence, and flow of the text. - Offering suggestions for rephrasing or restructuring sentences to enhance readability. - Addressing inconsistencies or contradictions within the text. - Verifying the accuracy of factual information and cross-referencing with reliable sources. - Collaborating effectively with writers, editors, and team members to address feedback and revisions. - Performing quality checks on completed documents to maintain high standards.
