About the Role

Proofreader (Freelancer)

Responsibilities

• Proofread AI-generated text for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and coherence.
• Evaluate tone, flow, and adherence to English writing standards.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, and awkward phrasing.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI text-generation quality.
• Work across varied content types including technical, creative, and business writing.

Requirements

• Strong command of English grammar and editorial best practices.
• Experience in proofreading, editing, content review, or copyediting.
• Familiarity with style guides (APA, Chicago, MLA) is a bonus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
