Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

To complete the proof-reading, checking & other work related to manuscript and proofs.
Completing the task assigned, following the given guidelines within given timeline
Minimize typographical errors
Thoroughly checking the style and maintaining uniformity in layout of pages as well as book
Evaluate the dimension of page elements such as images, text spacing and positioning to ensure they confirm to set specification.
Coordinating with proof-reading team and editors and clarifying all queries
Submitting daily reports to the manager
Improve work efficiency
Identifying all spelling mistakes, grammatical & punctuation errors and marking them clearly and properly on proofs
Good command over respective subject
Knowledge of all proof reading marks
