Project Site Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation

As a Project Site Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation in the Biogas Generation Plant design and commissioning team, your role will involve designing and developing electrical control circuit drawings using AutoCAD (2D), executing instrument hookup drawings, supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of HT systems, coordinating with design and process teams, conducting site inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, preparing technical documentation, and liaising with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop electrical control circuit drawings using AutoCAD (2D) - Execute instrument hookup drawings and ensure proper signal integration with PLC systems - Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HT systems including transformers, VCBs, and associated switchgear - Coordinate with design and process teams to ensure electrical systems align with plant requirements - Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues during project execution - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings - Liaise with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders for smooth execution Qualifications & Skills: - Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation - Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical circuit and hookup drawings - Experience in PLC signal integration and instrumentation systems - Strong understanding of HT systems, including transformers and VCB commissioning - Familiarity with renewable energy or biogas plant projects is an advantage - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills - Willingness to travel and work on-site as required Preferred: - Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial automation - Experience with safety protocols and electrical compliance standards - Prior involvement in commissioning of energy or utility-scale projects In this role, you will be part of a team working on renewable energy projects, specifically in the biogas sector.
