As a Project Scientist -I (Medical) at SJRI in Bangalore, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Coordination and Supervision of the research team - Participant recruitment - Data-collection and data entry - Follow-up of participants - Report preparation - IEC related work (Submission of AEs SAEs) - Any other task as necessary Qualifications required for this position include: - MBBS MD, Preferably Community Health / Family medicine If you are looking to contribute to a three-arm randomized controlled trial focusing on anti-inflammatory strategies to overcome cachexia among patients with TB in South India, this opportunity awaits you. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of Omega 3 supplements and Ibuprofen in improving muscle protein fractional synthesis rate among patients with pulmonary TB on Anti tubercular treatment and food supplements against standard of care.
