Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Project Research Scientist 1 (ICMR) on purely contractual basis in the extramural research project titled Evaluation of the Nephroprotective Activity and Therapeutic Potential of CKD777 in Chronic Kidney Disease. sanctioned to Dr. Reshma S, Associate Professor, YAMCH, Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University, Mangalore, as Principal Investigator under Investigator Initiated Extra Mural Grants of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) India.

Duration of the Project: Three years. The appointment will be for a period of one year and based on a satisfactory performance in first year, the appointment will be extended till the end of the project.
Eligibility: 1 st Class Post Graduate Degree (from a recognized University) including Integrated PG degrees with at least 3 years experience or PhD. or 2 nd Class Post Graduate Degree (a recognized University) including Integrated PG degrees with PhD and at least 3 years experience
Preferred Skills: Knowledge in Cell Culture, Western Blot, PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, handling lab animals, administering drugs and injections to the animals, Collection of data, Data processing, Statistical analysis, and Scientific writing skills.
Age Limit: Up to 40 years as of the date of the written test/Interview
Nature of Work: Project Research Scientist II would be responsible for data collection, laboratory work, clinical assistance, and any other work assigned by the PI.
