Project Planning Engineer - Process Equipment

Role Overview: As an experienced Project Planner at our company, you will play a crucial role in project planning, scheduling, and coordination within the pressure vessels and heat exchangers industry. Your main responsibility will be to develop detailed production schedules based on project requirements and priorities, allocate resources such as manpower, machines, and materials to meet production goals, monitor production timelines, liaise with design, procurement, and manufacturing teams, communicate schedules and priorities to shop floor supervisors, and resolve operational issues proactively. Key Responsibilities: - Developing detailed production schedules based on project requirements and priorities. - Allocating resources such as manpower, machines, and materials to meet production goals. - Monitoring production timelines and proactively addressing any deviations. - Liaising with design, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless workflow. - Communicating schedules and priorities to shop floor supervisors and resolving operational issues. Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in production scheduling, material planning, and manpower allocation. - Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes related to pressure vessels and heat exchangers. - Hands-on experience with non-ferrous metals, such as Titanium, Zirconium, Tantalum, Niobium (preferred). - Excellent problem-solving skills to address deviations and operational challenges proactively. - Proficiency in relevant planning and ERP tools. - Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise across teams. Additional Company Details: In terms of educational and professional requirements, we are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling within the manufacturing sector.,
