Role Overview: A Techno Functional Engineer, AVP based in Pune, India, is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end working products for business users. This role requires applying techno-functional expertise drawn from both technical and functional experience to efficiently and reliably achieve business goals. Key Responsibilities: - Leading activities to translate complex requirements from business users into system-specific functional specifications. - Actively participating in designing solution components with a solution mindset, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be successfully integrated into the overall functional solution and environment. - Advising businesses on investing in new technologies/solutions aligned with the bank's architecture blueprint. - Managing end-to-end delivery to realize business benefits. - Actively seeking opportunities to improve component availability and performance by applying learnings from monitoring and observation, automating towards zero touch, and promoting a 'DevOps' mindset. - Serving as a functional specialist and day-to-day leader of work efforts within a regulatory reporting value stream(s). Qualifications Required: - Fluent in English (written/verbal). - 12+ years of experience in managing teams for complex global IT change projects under various project/programme environments and tight timelines. - Strong experience interpreting multiple end-to-end APAC regulatory jurisdictions (e.g., MAS, FSA, BNM, BOK) across Financial, Risk, and Transactional reporting. - Experience in functional analysis, data analytics, or user experience. - Experience in a financial domain (capital markets, transaction banking, wealth management) and/or related support functions. - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, provide innovative insights/solutions, and oversee their delivery. - Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize key deliverables across multiple work streams. - Excellent communication and documentation/presentation skills. - Self-motivated with the flexibility to work autonomously and in virtual teams, including matrix/global organizations. - Strong leadership skills and ability to advance decisions and escalations. - Profound knowledge of methods and tooling for the Business Functional Analysis Profession. - Advanced knowledge of MS Office products. - Preferable experience in Data Taxonomy, Local Regulatory Reporting Data modeling, Regulatory Reporting Vendor Packages (e.g., Axiom), and Agile methodology delivery. Education/Certification: - Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Computer Science or related IT field. - Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience.
