Project Manager (Planning and Execution)

As a Project Manager (Planning and Execution) at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful planning and execution of projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and scheduling all project activities in accordance with timelines provided by PIMO. - Assisting PIMO in ensuring timely work execution on the construction site. - Liaising with Architects, Consultants, and Contractors to maintain smooth functioning at the site. - Conducting Project Review and Design Review meetings either online or in the office as needed. - Preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and circulating them to all relevant stakeholders. - Maintaining essential records at the site such as inventory management, RIF register, drawing register, and non-compliance register. - Guiding a team of Engineers to effectively plan and achieve mutually agreed-upon targets. - Mentoring Junior Engineers in site management practices. - Identifying any project slippages or delays and taking corrective actions promptly. - Requesting quotes from local vendors when necessary, conducting comparisons, and submitting recommendations for further processing by PIMO. - Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle. - Generating and presenting MIS reports periodically to facilitate decision-making by PIMO. - Minimizing material wastage at the site and recommending value engineering solutions to reduce costs where feasible. - Coordinating with team members, contractors, and consultants to ensure that assigned work is completed on schedule. Your qualifications should include: - A minimum of 12-15 years of experience on construction sites, particularly with large projects spanning 25-50 acres. - Experience working with Project Management Consultants for at least 5 years is preferred. - Proficiency in Civil, Structural, and Architectural design and construction aspects. - Familiarity with AutoCAD, Computerized reporting, and the MS Office package. - Ability to lead Project Management Teams in civil construction, MEP, and fit-out projects, while effectively coordinating with all consultants. - Proficiency in the local language, both written and spoken.
