Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Manager Marine, your main responsibility will be to plan, organize, control, and coordinate all activities related to assigned marine projects. This includes defect identification, coordination with clients and OEMs, resource planning, documentation, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professional work ethics. Key Responsibilities: - Plan overall project activities, manpower allocation, timelines, and resource requirements. - Organize daily work schedules and coordinate with the project team for smooth execution. - Control project operations through monitoring, reporting, and timely corrective actions. - Ensure completion of all tasks as per project schedules and client requirements. - Work beyond normal working hours based on project urgency and operational needs. - Prepare invoices and submission. - Identify defects during daily inspections. - Maintain and update the Defect Register on a daily basis. - Report major defects to seniors immediately. - Ensure timely defect rectification through the team or OEM support. - Prepare the required list of spares for project and defect rectification tasks. - Follow up with the store for material availability and issuance. - Receive and verify spares collected from the store. - Maintain the Monthly Spares Used Register aligned with service reports. - Update and reconcile project inventory every month. - Maintain and share the Minimum Stock List with Head Office monthly. - Prepare service reports regularly and obtain client signatures. - Follow up with OEMs for service support whenever required. - Collect OEM service reports and maintain proper documentation. - Ensure systematic filing of all project-related records. - Generate and submit MIS reports to management on time. - Ensure the availability and readiness of tools required for project execution. - Submit a Monthly Tools Availability Report to Head Office. - Act as the primary point of contact for the client. - Communicate professionally with clients and Head Office both verbally and in writing. - Provide regular updates, attend meetings, and resolve client issues promptly. - Maintain healthy relationships and uphold a positive company image. - Lead and supervise the project team for daily work assignments. - Ensure compliance with safety rules and operational discipline. - Provide guidance, training, and technical support to team members. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Degree in Marine Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 10 years of experience in marine projects or similar field. - Hands-on experience with marine equipment, boats, and service operations preferred. Additional Details: The company requires you to have the ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines, willingness to travel as required, and flexibility to work extended hours depending on project needs. Note: Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund. This is a full-time, permanent position with an in-person work location.,
